1. Product
SOS Epilepsy Travel is a web app (used in a browser and installable on the home screen of a smartphone or tablet) designed to help a person with epilepsy and their companion prepare for and respond to a seizure while travelling: steps to follow, timer, emergency numbers for 46 countries, translated messages read aloud by the device's speech synthesis, hospital and pharmacy search, printable wallet cards and a preparation checklist.
The purchase grants a personal, non-transferable licence for one household, usable on up to three devices. Updates (emergency numbers, languages, fixes) are included for at least 12 months from purchase; after that, the app remains usable in its latest version.
2. Price
€14.90 net, one-time payment, no subscription. Jean-Claude CHENARD EI operates under the French micro-entreprise scheme: VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code. The applicable price is the one shown on the website on the day of the order.
3. Order and payment
Orders are placed on the website by bank card, through the secure Stripe payment platform. The order is final once payment is received. The access link, activation code and invoice are sent by email to the address given at payment.
4. Delivery and right of withdrawal
The app is digital content supplied without a physical medium. Access is opened immediately after payment. In accordance with article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, a consumer who requests this immediate access gives express consent to performance before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledges losing this right: no refund is due once access has been opened. If a technical problem prevents use, the publisher restores access or issues a refund.
5. Legal guarantee of conformity
The customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content provided for in articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. Any complaint should be sent to contact@agen-ia.fr.
6. Technical requirements
A recent smartphone or tablet with an up-to-date browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox). Reading aloud depends on the speech synthesis voices installed on the device. The hospital and pharmacy search and phone calls require a connection. During a phone call, the app's sound is not transmitted to the other party.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is an organisation and communication aid. It makes no diagnosis, replaces neither the advice of a health professional nor the emergency services, and is not a medical device. The customer remains responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter and for having their instructions approved by their doctor. Emergency numbers and collaborative map data (OpenStreetMap) are provided for guidance and must be checked locally. The publisher cannot be held liable for any unavailability of the network, the device or third-party services.
8. Intellectual property
The app remains the property of Jean-Claude CHENARD. The licence does not allow resale, or sharing of the link or activation code outside the household.
9. Personal data
See the privacy policy.
10. Mediation and disputes
In the event of a dispute, a consumer may use the consumer mediator free of charge, after first sending a written complaint to the publisher that was not satisfactorily resolved: CM2C — Centre de la médiation de la consommation de conciliateurs de justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net, +33 1 89 47 00 14. Applicable law: French law, without prejudice to the more protective mandatory provisions of the consumer's country of habitual residence.
11. Language
